Shohei Ohtani, Clayton Kershaw, Tyler Glasnow, Blake Treinen and Blake Snell, Dodgers

Ohtani (right elbow and left shoulder surgeries) is scheduled to throw a light bullpen on April 23 before throwing what manager Dave Roberts described as a "full-blown bullpen" on April 27.

Kershaw (left toe and left knee surgeries) made his second rehab start on April 22 with Double-A Tulsa.

Glasnow left early from his April 20 start against the Rangers with lower leg cramps after throwing one pitch in the fifth inning. The issue is not expected to prevent him from making his next start.

Treinen has a low-grade sprain in his right forearm, per Roberts, and will proceed with rest and rehab for now.

Snell (left shoulder inflammation) is expected to be able to return to the Dodgers' rotation without a rehab assignment.

Giancarlo Stanton, DJ LeMahieu and Jonathan Loáisiga, Yankees

Stanton (torn tendons in both elbows) took a big step in his rehab by hitting in on-field batting practice ahead of the game in Cleveland on April 22. He said he feels better, but isn’t sure when his rehab assignment will begin.

LeMahieu (left calf strain) began a Minor League rehab assignment with Double-A Somerset on April 22.

Loáisiga (recovery from right UCL surgery) threw a live bullpen session on April 21 and has one more scheduled for April 23. He’ll begin a Minor League rehab assignment on April 26.

Jack Leiter, Rangers

Leiter (right middle finger blister) threw 60 pitches over 4 2/3 innings in a rehab start with Triple-A Round Rock on April 22.

Luis Arraez, Padres

Arraez was placed on the 7-day concussion IL on April 21, one day after he was carted off the field following a collision with Astros second baseman Mauricio Dubón.

Spencer Strider, Braves

Strider suffered a strained right hamstring while playing catch on April 21 and was placed on the 15-day IL.

Kutter Crawford and Lucas Giolito, Red Sox

Crawford (right patellar soreness) was expected to report to Fort Myers on April 22, where he will face live hitters and work towards appearing in extended spring training games.

Giolito (low grade left hamstring strain) went five innings in the fourth start of his Minor League rehab assignment on April 20. He might make another start in the Minors before being activated.

Brandon Woodruff and Blake Perkins, Brewers

Woodruff (right shoulder surgery) is scheduled to make his next rehab appearance on April 24 with Triple-A Nashville.

Perkins (right shin fracture) has been cleared to resume baseball activites.

A.J. Puk and Kendall Graveman, D-backs

Puk (left elbow inflammation) has undergone an MRI and is seeking a second opinion.

Graveman (back tightness) threw a 25-pitch live batting practice session on April 22.

Ginkel (right shoulder inflammation) is set to begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Reno in the coming days.

George Kirby, Mariners

Kirby (right shoulder inflammation) is scheduled to face hitters for the first time in a live batting practice session this week.

CJ Abrams and Michael Soroka, Nationals

Abrams (right hip flexor strain) and Soroka (right biceps strain) began rehab assignments with Double-A Harrisburg on April 22.

Brandon Marsh and Ranger Suárez, Phillies

Marsh was placed on the 10-day IL on April 20 with a left hamstring strain.

Suárez (lower back stiffness) was scheduled to make his third rehab start on April 22 with Triple-A Lehigh Valley, after which he's likely to need at least one additional outing before being activated.

Pablo López and Royce Lewis, Twins

López (right hamstring strain) threw a bullpen session on April 22 and it is expected that his next start will be in the Major League rotation, most likely before the current homestand ends.

Lewis (left hamstring strain) sprinted on April 21 and did his most aggressive baserunning work to date on April 22.

Carson Spiers and Tyler Stephenson, Reds

Spiers (right shoulder impingement) will be shut down from throwing for at least six weeks. He is scheduled to begin soft tissue work to loosen up his shoulder.

Stephenson (left oblique strain) started on April 22 behind the plate for Triple-A Louisville.

Brendan Donovan, Cardinals

Donovan had a rib head pop out of place on April 22 and was scratched from the starting lineup. He had the rib put back into place, but the lingering soreness might make him unavailable on April 23. No IL designation is expected.

Lane Thomas, Guardians

The Guardians placed Thomas on the 10-day injured list on April 22 with a bone bruise in his right wrist.

Jeff McNeil and Francisco Alvarez, Mets

McNeil (right oblique strain) and Alvarez (fractured left hamate bone) will remain on their current rehab assignments heading into the week of April 21.

Trevor Rogers and Grayson Rodriguez, Orioles

Rogers (right knee subluxation) is scheduled to make the first start of his Minor League rehab assignment on April 23 for Double-A Chesapeake.

The Orioles are seeking more opinions after receiving the results of imaging on Rodriguez's right shoulder. Rodriguez, who has been on the injured list with right elbow inflammation, was originally scheduled for a side session on April 17 but instead underwent an MRI after experiencing shoulder soreness.

Javier Assad and Tyson Miller, Cubs

Assad (mild left oblique strain) left his April 22 rehab start after appearing to re-injure his oblique warming up in the fifth inning.

Miller (left hip impingement) threw 1 1/3 innings in his April 19 rehab appearance with Triple-A Iowa and is scheduled for back-to-back outings this week.

Max Scherzer and Daulton Varsho, Blue Jays

Scherzer (right thumb inflammation) played catch for a second consecutive day on April 22. His next step when he’s ready will be throwing simulated innings.

Varsho (right rotator cuff surgery) resumed his rehab assignment with his first game for Triple-A Buffalo on April 22. He could return to Toronto next week, if not sooner.

Ryan Weathers and Griffin Conine, Marlins

Weathers (left flexor muscle strain) threw two innings against hitters on April 22. His next step would likely be a rehab assignment, per manager Clayton McCullough.

Conine was placed on the 60-day IL on April 20 with a dislocated left shoulder.

Josh Lowe and Shane McClanahan, Rays

Lowe (Grade 2 right oblique strain) took 20 dry swings on April 19 and plans to begin hitting off a tee this week.

McClanahan (left triceps nerve irritation) is expected to attempt to throw for the first time this week.

Chase Meidroth and Martín Pérez, White Sox

Meidroth (right thumb inflammation) was placed on the 10-day IL on April 21.

Pérez left his April 18 start vs. the Red Sox after three innings with left forearm soreness. He was placed on the 15-day IL on April 19 with left elbow inflammation and was transferred to the 60-day IL two days later.

Kyle Freeland, Kris Bryant and Ezequiel Tovar, Rockies

After trying to make his warmup pitches for the third inning of his April 20 start, Freeland left early with a finger blister on his throwing hand.

Bryant (lumbar degenerative disc disease) was originally expected to join the Rockies on their trip to Kansas City April 22-24 but remained in Denver to undergo treatment.

Tovar (left hip contusion) will be out beyond the 10-day minimum for his IL stint and is likely to be playing through discomfort for the remainder of the season.
