Clayton Kershaw, Blake Snell and Tony Gonsolin, Dodgers
Kershaw (left toe/left knee surgery recovery) made a three-inning rehab start with Triple-A Oklahoma City on April 16.
Snell (left shoulder inflammation) felt good after resuming playing catch on April 14 but is still at least a couple of days away from throwing off the mound.
Gonsolin (back tightness) made his third rehab start with Triple-A Oklahoma City on April 15, throwing 66 pitches over four innings.
Luis Gil and Giancarlo Stanton, Yankees
Gil (right lat strain), who was scheduled to begin a throwing program on April 16, has had his progress delayed by about 10 days.
Stanton (torn tendons in both elbows) is still in pain, but has reported that it's manageable. He could resume taking live at-bats soon.
Masyn Winn and Iván Herrera, Cardinals
Winn (lower back spasms) is taking batting practice and playing catch and will remain in St. Louis this weekend to continue rehabbing while the Cardinals travel to New York.
Herrera (left knee bone bruise) is hitting in the cages and playing catch and may begin a running and catching program this weekend.
Matt Wallner, Carlos Correa, Christian Vázquez and Brock Stewart, Twins
Wallner (left hamstring tightness) and Correa (sore left wrist), who both left the Twins' April 15 game due to injury, underwent MRIs on April 16. Correa later entered that day's game against the Mets as a defensive replacement in the ninth inning.
Vázquez (sore right hand) is improving and was expected to be available off the bench on April 16.
Stewart (left hamstring strain) has been added to the roster with Single-A Fort Myers to begin a rehab assignment.
Josh Smith, Wyatt Langford and Jack Leiter, Rangers
Smith (thumb bruise) was out of the lineup again on April 16 but is expected to return during the current homestand.
Langford (right oblique strain) will swing a bat on April 17 as he continues to ramp up baseball activities and could be activated as soon as he’s eligible on April 18.
Leiter (right middle finger blister) will throw a live batting practice session on April 17. Manager Bruce Bochy said that if all goes well, Leiter will start next week, although it’s uncertain whether that will be with Triple-A Round Rock or the big league club.
Paul DeJong and DJ Herz, Nationals
DeJong, who was hit in the face by a fastball from Mitch Keller on April 15, was placed on the 10-day IL on April 16 with a fractured nose.
Herz underwent Tommy John surgery on April 16.
Kris Bryant and Brenton Doyle, Rockies
Bryant was placed on the 10-day injured list on April 14 with lumbar degenerative disc disease.
Doyle is day to day with left quad soreness. He was out of the lineup through April 15.
Brandon Woodruff, Nestor Cortes and Tobias Myers, Brewers
Woodruff (right shoulder surgery) will throw about four innings in his next rehab start with High-A Wisconsin on April 18.
Cortes (left elbow flexor strain) was expected to go at least 10 more days without throwing as of April 15.
Myers (left oblique discomfort) will throw 65-70 pitches in his next rehab start with Triple-A Nashville on April 18 and could be activated afterwards.
Jose Siri and Griffin Canning, Mets
Siri suffered a fractured left tibia after fouling a ball off his shin on April 12. The team does not yet have a clear timeline on how long Siri will be sidelined, manager Carlos Mendoza said, “but he’s going to be out for a while.”
Canning, who was scratched from his scheduled start on April 16 due to an illness, has been cleared to start April 17 against the Cardinals.
Ronald Acuña Jr. and Marcell Ozuna, Braves
Acuña (torn left ACL) underwent tests in Los Angeles on April 14 and “passed everything,” according to manager Brian Snitker. He will return to Florida to ramp up his strength and conditioning before going out on a rehab assignment.
Ozuna (minor hip inflammation) went back to Atlanta for an MRI after the road series against the Rays and is considered day to day.
Daulton Varsho and Max Scherzer, Blue Jays
Varsho (right rotator cuff surgery) is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment with Single-A Dunedin after the expected April 16 birth of his first child.
Scherzer (right thumb inflammation) threw on April 14 and 15 in Florida and was expected to see a hand specialist on April 16.
Justin Steele, Javier Assad and Eli Morgan, Cubs
Steele will undergo season-ending surgery on April 18 to address the flexor tendon and UCL in his left elbow.
Assad (mild left oblique strain) threw 66 pitches in 3 1/3 innings in a rehab start with Triple-A Iowa on April 15. He has another rehab start scheduled for April 20.
Morgan was placed on the 15-day injured list on April 15 with a right elbow impingement. He will be examined further when the team returns to Chicago.
Zach Eflin, Grayson Rodriguez and Tyler Wells, Orioles
Eflin (mild right lat strain) resumed throwing on April 16, when he played catch at Camden Yards.
Rodriguez (right elbow inflammation) will throw a third bullpen session on April 17. He remains on track in his throwing program and hasn't had any setbacks.
Wells (right UCL repair surgery) is expected to throw off a mound before the end of April and is on track for a late-summer return.
Jackson Merrill, Yu Darvish and Bryan Hoeing, Padres
Merrill (right hamstring strain) did light running work on April 16 as he continues to build his way toward more baseball activity. On April 15, he was on-field for early BP -- but only bunted.
Darvish (right elbow inflammation) has not thrown a true bullpen session yet, but that appears to be imminent. He played catch off the bullpen mound on April 14.
Hoeing (right shoulder strain) rejoined the Padres in San Diego and threw his first full bullpen session with breaking pitches on April 15.
Ketel Marte, Kendall Graveman and Kevin Ginkel, D-backs
Marte (left hamstring strain) took swings in a live batting practice session on April 15.
Graveman (back tightness) threw his third bullpen session on April 15.
Ginkel (right shoulder inflammation) threw a live batting practice session on April 15.
Connor Wong, Lucas Giolito, Brayan Bello and Liam Hendriks, Red Sox
Wong (left pinkie fracture) was feeling some progress and doing some catching drills as of April 15, eight days after he suffered the injury.
Giolito (left hamstring strain) struggled in the third start of his rehab assignment on April 15. He threw two-plus innings for Double-A Portland, giving up five hits and three runs while walking three and striking out four.
Bello (right shoulder inflammation) will make his fourth and likely final rehab start on April 16 for Double-A Portland.
Hendriks (right elbow inflammation) will make his third rehab appearance with Double-A Portland on April 16 before potentially being activated on April 18.
Connor Norby and Ryan Weathers, Marlins
Norby (left oblique strain) played seven innings for Triple-A Jacksonville on April 15.
Weathers (left flexor muscle strain) threw his entire arsenal in a 25-pitch bullpen session on April 15 and will face hitters soon.
Ranger Suárez, Phillies
Suárez (lower back stiffness) will pitch four innings in his second rehab start on April 16 for Single-A Clearwater. The Phillies have not said how many rehab starts they expect him to make before he rejoins the rotation.
Tyler Stephenson, Reds
Stephenson (left oblique strain) is catching in the bullpen and throwing to bases and could begin a rehab assignment as soon as April 22.
Lance McCullers Jr., Astros
McCullers (right flexor tendon surgery) is scheduled to make his next rehab start with Double-A Corpus Christi on April 19, after which he could be activated.
