Strider (right elbow surgery) is expected to return from the injured list to start for Atlanta against the Blue Jays on April 16. In his latest rehab start, the right-hander recorded 13 strikeouts and allowed just one run over 5 1/3 innings for Triple-A Gwinnett on April 10.
Marcus Stroman, Clarke Schmidt and DJ LeMahieu, Yankees
The Yankees placed Stroman on the 15-day injured list with left knee inflammation prior to their April 12 game against the Giants at Yankee Stadium.
Schmidt (right shoulder fatigue) made his second rehab start for Double-A Somerset on April 10 and is slated to return from the IL on April 15 or April 16 against the Royals, replacing Stroman in the Yankees' rotation.
LeMahieu (left calf strain) was expected to begin logging at-bats at the club’s Minor League complex in Tampa, Fla., on April 12 or April 13, which will begin what manager Aaron Boone described as "a pretty big buildup" of game activity that will replicate a full Spring Training.
Shohei Ohtani, Clayton Kershaw, Tony Gonsolin, Evan Phillips and Michael Kopech, Dodgers
Ohtani (recovery from right elbow and left shoulder surgeries) threw 30 pitches in a bullpen session on April 12, reaching 90-92 mph on his fastball.
Kershaw (left toe/left knee surgery recovery) is scheduled to make a rehab start on April 16.
Gonsolin (back tightness) will make his next rehab start with Triple-A Oklahoma City on April 15.
Phillips (torn muscle in right rotator cuff) made his second rehab appearance on April 11 and is nearing a return, per manager Dave Roberts.
Kopech (right shoulder impingement) has resumed his bullpen progression.
Seiya Suzuki, Cubs
Suzuki came out of the Cubs' game against the Dodgers on April 12 in the fifth inning due to right wrist pain. He originally hurt the wrist on a steal attempt on April 7 against the Rangers. He is considered day to day.
CJ Abrams, Nationals
Abrams was placed on the 10-day injured list with a right hip flexor strain on April 12.
Masyn Winn, Cardinals
Winn was placed on the 10-day injured list with back spasms on April 12.
Brenton Doyle and Tyler Freeman, Rockies
Doyle is day to day with left quad soreness. He was out of the lineup through April 13.
Freeman suffered a left oblique strain and was scratched from the lineup on April 12. He remained out on April 13.
Daulton Varsho, Max Scherzer and Erik Swanson, Blue Jays
Varsho (right rotator cuff surgery) began throwing from the outfield to the bases on April 12 and is expected to get into extended spring games next week.
Scherzer (right thumb inflammation) threw in Baltimore on April 12. One day earlier, he had imaging done that "checked out normal."
Swanson (median nerve entrapment) threw a bullpen on April 11 at the Blue Jays' complex in Dunedin, Fla., and will likely face live hitters next week.
Grayson Rodriguez, Kyle Bradish and Andrew Kittredge, Orioles
Rodriguez (right elbow inflammation) threw a second full bullpen session on April 12. He remains on track in his throwing program and hasn't had any setbacks.
Bradish (Tommy John surgery) threw his first bullpen session on April 12.
Kittredge (left knee debridement) threw his first bullpen session on April 12 and is "way ahead of schedule," per manager Brandon Hyde.
Richard Fitts, Brayan Bello, Liam Hendriks and Masataka Yoshida, Red Sox
Fitts left his April 12 outing in the bottom of the sixth inning due to right shoulder pain. He was placed on the 15-day IL on April 13 with a right pectoral strain.
Bello (right shoulder inflammation) made his third rehab start on April 11 with Triple-A Worcester, throwing 64 pitches (45 strikes) over four innings. He's expected to make at least one more rehab start.
Hendriks (right elbow inflammation) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Worcester on April 10. There's a chance he could be activated for the series that starts on April 14 against the Rays.
Yoshida (right shoulder labrum tear/sore back) is expected to begin playing in extended Spring Training games sometime during the week of April 14.
Jose Siri, Jesse Winker, Francisco Alvarez and Jeff McNeil, Mets
Siri left the game against the Athletics on April 12 after fouling a ball off his left shin in the second inning. He was out of the lineup on April 13.
Winker was out of the lineup on April 12 and April 13 against the Athletics after dealing with flu-like symptoms for several days.
Alvarez (fractured left hamate bone) began a rehab assignment with Single-A St. Lucie on April 9; he was joined by McNeil (right oblique strain) on April 11.
Ryan Jeffers and Pablo López, Twins
Jeffers returned to the lineup on April 13. He was scratched on April 12 due to right thumb swelling.
López was placed on the 15-day injured list on April 11, retroactive to April 9, with a Grade 1 right hamstring strain.
Zack Gelof, Athletics
Gelof (right hamate fracture) has started up baseball activity, including fielding grounders and throwing, as of April 12.
Brendan Rodgers and Lance McCullers Jr., Astros
Rodgers is dealing with a sore left hip and was out of the lineup through April 13.
McCullers (right flexor tendon surgery) threw six innings and allowed two runs with eight K's in a rehab start for Triple-A Sugar Land on April 12.
Jack Leiter, Rangers
Leiter (right middle finger blister) threw a 15-pitch bullpen session without a bandage on April 11 and is expected to throw another on April 13.
Brandon Woodruff, Brewers
Woodruff (right shoulder surgery) began his 30-day rehab assignment on April 12 with Triple-A Nashville, throwing 3 2/3 innings and allowing two runs with five K's.
Alex Cobb and Parker Meadows, Tigers
Cobb (right hip inflammation) was scheduled for a bullpen session on April 12.
Meadows (right upper arm nerve discomfort) has started a hitting progression and has been able to work on conditioning, as of April 11.
Lane Thomas, Guardians
Thomas is day to day after suffering a right wrist contusion when he was hit by a pitch in the fifth inning April 8 against the White Sox. He was out of the starting lineup through April 13.
Jonathan India, Hunter Harvey and Sam Long, Royals
India had to exit the Royals' April 12 contest against the Guardians in the sixth inning due to right quad tightness and was out of the lineup on April 13. He said he is confident the issue is not serious and that he is day to day.
Harvey was placed on the 15-day injured list on April 11 with a right teres major strain.
Long was placed on the 15-day injured list on April 13 with left elbow inflammation.
Matt McLain, Tyler Stephenson and Alexis Díaz, Reds
McLain (left hamstring tightness) has resumed taking batting practice and ground balls and could be ready to return to the Reds lineup as soon as he is eligible on April 15.
Stephenson (left oblique strain) has resumed limited baseball activities and is expected to begin catching in the bullpen on April 15.
Díaz (left hamstring strain) could be nearing his return from the IL after making five rehab appearances for Triple-A Louisville. He was back with the Reds on April 13.
Richie Palacios, Rays
Palacios (fractured right ring finger) began a rehab assignment with Double-A Montgomery on April 12.
