Yankees to acquire 3B McMahon from Rockies (source)

The Yankees agreed to a deal with the Rockies to acquire lefty-hitting third baseman Ryan McMahon on Friday afternoon, a source told MLB.com's Mark Feinsand. Neither club has confirmed the deal, which will send pitching prospects Griffin Herring and Josh Grosz to Colorado, according to Feinsand.
