Griffin Conine makes a spectacular play in left field for the Tigres del Licey in the top of the third inning in LIDOM. Conine, who was limited to 24 games in 2025 due to left shoulder surgery, is playing in the Dominican Republic Winter League to make up at-bats. Entering Monday, Conine was 5-for-30 (.167) with no extra-base hits, three RBIs, five walks and 10 strikeouts in eight games. Conine was Miami’s starting right fielder on Opening Day, though he also saw time in left field this season. |
The Marlins’ 29-game Spring Training schedule will begin on Feb. 21 against the Mets at Clover Park in Port St. Lucie, Fla., and conclude on March 22 against the Mets at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in Jupiter, Fla. In between, Miami will host Team Israel in an exhibition game on March 3 ahead of the 2026 World Baseball Classic. MLB also has planned the third annual Spring Breakout.
