Manuel Sanchez will attend the University of Louisville in the fall, becoming the first graduate of the Reds RBI Program to attend a Division I school in one of the Power Four conferences. | | | Reds Host Big League Weekend at Great American Ball Park | Big League Weekend concluded the 15th annual Skyline Chili Reds Futures High School Showcase presented by PNC on May 15 after over two months of competition between local high school baseball and softball teams.
A thrilling matchup between Madeira and Summit Country Day at Great American Ball Park capped off this year’s Showcase. | | | Reds Families CASA Fundraiser | The Cincinnati Reds families, in partnership with the Cleveland Guardians families, are coming together again this season to support CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children), an organization dedicated to advocating for children and youth who have experienced abuse or neglect.
Last year, these efforts generated a combined $18,500, with Reds Families contributing $11,000 toward supporting CASA and the vital work they do to provide children with a voice in the courtroom and the opportunity for safe, permanent homes.

Jacob Hogue was the recipient of the Pride Community Advocate Award, presented by PNC, during a pregame ceremony on May 29.
Jacob is a public historian with a master’s degree from Northern Kentucky University and author of Cincinnati Before Stonewall: The Untold Queer History of the Queen City. He serves as History and Legacies Chair for Cincinnati Pride and is the creator of Queen City Queer History, an Instagram project highlighting Cincinnati’s LGBTQ+ past. He is also the founder of Queen City Queer History Tour and lectures throughout Ohio and Kentucky. | | |
